These are the terms for the Local B-Roll membership, which is part of the Cali Collective Academy. The service is A Cali Collective, operated in St. Augustine, Florida. If anything here is unclear, write to team@acalicollectiveproject.com and ask before you join.
What you are buying
A membership. It includes three to four classes a month, your own notes after each class, access to the searchable recording library, access to the member channel, and the Local B-Roll footage library for your region. The current price and the ways to pay are on the pricing page.
The membership does not include done for you work. Nobody posts on your behalf, builds your systems for you, or manages your accounts as part of the membership.
Billing
Memberships are billed by card through Stripe. The monthly plan bills the same day each month. The three month plan bills today and then again every three months, until you cancel.
Prices are in US dollars. If a payment fails, the membership may be paused or ended until it is resolved.
Cancelling
You cancel yourself from your own account. No call and no email are required. Cancel before your next billing date and nothing further is charged. Cancelling does not refund a period that has already been billed, apart from the first class refund described below.
The first class refund
Sit through the first class. If it is not for you, say so and the month is refunded. On the three month plan, the whole amount paid for that period is refunded. Ask within a reasonable time after that first class, and it will be honored.
Access to the library
Library access is granted by hand and arrives within one business day of joining. It is tied to the email address you joined with. Access continues while the membership is active and ends when it ends.
Use of the footage
The footage and photos in the library are licensed to you for use in your own business marketing while your membership is active: your website, your social accounts, your ads, and printed material for your business.
You may not resell the footage, redistribute it as a library, sublicense it, or present it as footage you shot yourself. You may not use it to build a competing footage product. Client work you produce for your own customers is fine, as long as the footage is not the thing being sold.
Classes and recordings
Classes are taught live, in the room in St. Augustine or online, and are recorded. The recordings are for members. They are not to be downloaded, re-uploaded, shared, or resold outside the membership. Your own notes are yours to keep and use in your business.
Class dates can move. When one does, you will be told by email.
Your conduct
Be decent in the room and in the member channel. Do not record other members without asking. Do not share other members' business details outside the group. We can end a membership for harassment, for sharing recordings or footage outside the terms above, or for using the material in a way that harms someone else.
What we do not promise
We do not promise a particular result from your business, a particular ranking, a particular number of leads, or that any specific tool mentioned in a class will keep working the way it did that night. Software changes. We teach what works now and how to check it yourself.
Classes are taught as education. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
Availability
We aim to keep the site and the member app up, and to keep classes running on the dates listed. Things break, and a host can go down. We will tell you when something is wrong and fix it as fast as we can.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top of this page changes, and members are told by email if the change materially affects them.
